We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of Ronald Bain of Petawawa, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, on Tuesday April 14, at the age of 83 years. Ron was the beloved husband of Ann Bain (nee Carter) and father to David Bain (Alisa) and the late Wendy Matthews. Loving grandfather of Mackenzie. Brother of the late Beverly Lewty and predeceased by his parents Irvin and Hazel (nee Harper) Bain. Ron will be sadly missed by his four legged companion Buddy. Friends were invited to share their memories of Ron with his family during visitation at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke, on Tuesday April 21. Funeral Service was held at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon. Interment at Beechwood National Military Cemetery Ottawa, on Wednesday April 22. In memory of Ron, donations to the Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
